Sewmor 202 - Vintage find

I am excited! I found a vintage 1952 Sewmore sewing machine complete with cabinet, and was able to pick it up today all for $40.00! It appears to be in good working order, though I haven't threaded it or sewn a single stitch with it. I have to set it up and learn a little more about it before I use it. Threading it is going to be an interesting journey all on its own - it doesn't thread like today's machines do. From a distance, it reminds me of a Singer "Century" machine or a Singer Featherweight... I will post pictures once I get it set up and figure it out - it is a black machine with gold details. I can't wait to start using it! :)

  1. Did you ever figure out how to thread the machine? I just got a SewMor 202 as well, but mine is blue. And I have never seen anything like it before. I can't figure out how to thread it and was hoping you could give me some tips!
